The Association has a full programme of
events throughout the year.
- During the winter on the third Wednesday
of the month we hold an association meeting
when we generally invite a guest speaker to
present a related topic
- Spring is our education period with the
Beginners Course and for established
beekeepers study groups covering specific
BBKA modules
- During the summer we attend various
fetes and open days where we set up our
stand promoting beekeeping including honey
sales and live bees
- Throughout the summer there are training
sessions at our Association Apiary
- Our AGM and Honey Show is held each
October
All of these events are organised and on the
whole staffed by our members
Evening meetings take place on the third Wednesday of each month throughout the winter at the Wendover Bowls Club, Dobbins Lane, Wendover. Unless otherwise stated the meetings start at 7:30 pm. Click
